Negative Painting

Notes: I’ve tried this technique before and didn’t do too bad but I wasn’t super happy with it. This variation by @bycreativepaula is really nice and has great depth. She completed hers different from how I’ve completed them in the past and want to give this another go.
Media: Watercolor, though would be interesting to see with acrylic markers and alcohol markers too.
Doodle Leaves

Notes: I really like this idea, the leaves look really cool and I like the contrasts of the soft watercolor and line work. Interesting patterns and overlap. I really like the playful imperfections and I want to try and incorporate that more into my own work.
Media: Watercolor and fine liner or acrylic marker.
Doodle Town

Notes: Loved this idea! I’ve always been interested in making little houses and towns and this is a great way to do that using acrylic markers. Lot’s of different ways to do this one. Lots of fund irections.
Media: Acrylic markers.
Agate

Notes: Fun, simple, looks stunning in the end. I’ll make this one have metallic elements too.
Media: Watercolor or acrylic markers.

Moving Circles

Notes: I really like this idea, especially thinking I can combine it with the Stratified Layering technique. Do I also overlap the lines like this? I think that could make interesting visuals.
Media: Fine liner and possibly a coloring medium.
