Reflection

Meaning: Anxiety. The doodles are my brain, the fissure is my anxiety bubbling under the surface and breaking through.

Lava Inspired
Anxiety is something I’ve struggled with my whole life. It’s just a part of me, flowing through until it finally erupts. There’s something serene about making my anxiety look beautiful in this spread.

Ink dropper to make lines that are connected like you'd see in rough cobblestone. Inside the empty space are doodles. The black lines are thick to fill with color.

Planning Notes

I did this random linework in my Home Page using the Black Bombay India Ink. It gave me the idea to create the larger version in my Doodle Anatomy Sketchbook.

Progress Notes

Going well. The lines came out looking nice and jagged and natural. The doodles are filling the spaces well. I don’t have a tone of space in the black lines at some points but I think it’ll still work.

Choose reds from acrylic markers, grab gold paint
Paint acrylic markers in middle of black line.
Line the red with gold paint.
Rule the world!
