✦ Meaning & Symbolism: Just pretty things.

✦ Why I Love This Piece: I was using some cheap acrylic markers I have to see how they worked while also testing the sketchbook. I was following some videos I’ll try to find again to link. Came out really nice! I like this style, looks a lot like gauche.

✦ Materials: Grabie Acrylic Markers, ARTISTRO Acrylic Paint Markers, and NICETY Acrylic Paint Markers used in a scrap sketchbook.

✦ Meaning & Symbolism: Free association.

✦ Why I Love This Piece: I tried to make something interesting looking that was also pretty weird, with a lot of subjects to look at. I succeeded. However, I used the wrong nib to ink it so I ended up scrapping it and created Eyed on it instead.

✦ Materials: Pentel GraphGear 1000 - 0.5 using Pentel 0.5 Lead (F) on Canson Graduate Mixed Media Paper.

✦ Meaning & Symbolism: I just like the way the jellyfish turned out. It’s really cool and I want to attempt to recreate it in my sketchbook.

✦ Why I Love This Piece: I loved this jellyfish so much that I decided to try and make it more visible. It’s so fluid and has so many undulating folds that look really interesting. Should have colored this. Still might.

✦ Meaning & Symbolism: Sometimes you just want to paint something dark.

✦ Why I Love This Piece: I was practicing flowers and decided to try something I don’t normally. The result was really nice! I love the flowers, there’s depth, and the colors are very brooding. Overall a really nice piece that surprised me when I made it.

✦ Meaning & Symbolism: I made this map as I was writing a story (that was never completed). I had a lot of fun playing with the textures and making the map. It’s massive and took hours and hours. I should get a print of it one day!
